Infinite Technologies demonstrates a strong expertise in lower limb prosthetics. In fact, lower limb amputation is far more prevalent (than upper limb amputation) worldwide. Though the goals of each patient vary, the primary focus of a lower limb prosthesis is to successfully bare the weight of the body. Once weight-baring, patients are able to focus on accomplishing other goals like golfing, running and dancing.

Infinite Technologies is privy to the most up-to-date research regarding device functionality. We work with above and below knee amputees, as well as those with knee disarticulation, hemipelvectomy, partial foot or van-ness amputation. Infinite Technologies holds certifications for the most innovative devices including the C-Leg, the RHEO knee and the Proprio foot (all pictured below). The C-Leg is manufactured by Otto Bock and the RHEO knee and Proprio foot are manufactured by Ossur. We also work with other lower limb manufacturers such as Endolite and Trulife.

Infinite Technologies is a major proponent of the Immediate Post-Operative Prosthesis or IPOP. Worn immediately after limb amputation surgery, the IPOP helps to protect patients' surgical wounds, promotes healing and allows patients to become accustomed to wearing a device. The IPOP has proven to decrease patients' immobility time following amputation, promoting the patients' candidacy for a prosthesis. You may find IPOP Wear & Care Instructions in Patient Resources.
