Infinite Technologies has experience treating a full range of upper extremity injuries and diagnoses including fracture management, contracture management, muscle weakness, pain control or post-operative support. Upper extremity orthoses are designed to fit a wide range of diagnoses for both children and adults.

Whether you are fit while in the hospital or evaluated in one of our office locations, you can rest assured that our orthotists will determine the most appropriate brace for your upper extremity needs. You may be directly referred by your doctor or can be at the recommended to see us by your physical/occupational therapist for possible orthotic intervention. Based on the doctor’s prescription, medical notes, and overall diagnosis, we will fit the patient with the highest level of “off the shelf” or custom upper extremity orthoses deemed necessary. Our team of practitioners is highly trained to treat not just the diagnosis, but the whole patient. Our evaluations will include understanding your needs and how the device will impact your rehabilitative goals.

Many of our off the shelf braces are able to be “customized” through a variety of length, width, and circumferential adjustments. This will allow for increased fit, comfort, and efficacy. If an off the shelf device is not appropriate or available, a custom made device will be recommended for the patient.

We will take the time to explain how your brace benefits you and how to appropriately use the device. Careful explanation and demonstrations of putting the device on and taking it off will ensure your comfort and compliance with the device. Before you leave, we will make sure your questions are answered, your brace is functional and comfortable, and you have our contact information for any future questions or concerns. Most importantly, we follow you through your rehabilitation and after hospital care or initial appointment to ensure the upper extremity orthosis maintains its optimal fit and is adjusted as you progress through your treatment.
